Business Hunter Awards

We are excited to share that YZ has been named a finalist in the ‘Excellence in Micro Business’ category at the 2025 Business Hunter Awards. This recognition reflects the work we do with integrity and impact, and how deeply we value contributing to the Hunter’s business community. Being alongside so many innovative organisations is an honour in itself, and we are proud to stand among them.

Hunter Innovation Festival

YZ was proud to sponsor the ‘Future is Storage’ panel, introduced by Yannick, which brought together leading voices to discuss how energy storage is reshaping our region and beyond. Meanwhile, Tanja took to the stage at the festival’s “PEW! PEW! PEW!” segment, firing out the concept of a green economy coworking HUB to inspire bold new conversations. These opportunities reflect our belief that innovation is about collaboration and sharing ideas with the community.

Mentorship in the Hunter

Supporting others on their journey is a cornerstone of our work. Yannick works with entrepreneurs through the Integrated Innovation Network (I2N), while Tanja supports students and young professionals through the University of Newcastle’s ILEAD program and events such as the Hunter Young Professionals’ speed mentoring.

Mentoring is a two-way street; we come away more curious, more inspired, and more connected.
