The Power of Connection

Connecting with Innovation

Through our involvement with Eighteen04, YZ recently joined local business leaders for a tour of CSIRO’s Renewable Energy Integration Facility (REIF) in Newcastle. The visit provided a fascinating insight into the research supporting Australia’s energy transition, from renewable generation to battery storage and EV charging.

It was a valuable opportunity to showcase the innovation happening in the Hunter region and strengthen connections across the renewable energy community.

Connecting with Community

Community engagement remains a key focus for our client’s Upper Hunter Energy Park. Following the recent re-establishment of the project’s Community Consultative Committee (CCC), members met in Scone to discuss project progress and upcoming activities.

The CCC provides an important forum for local representatives, stakeholders and the project team to share information, ask questions and maintain open dialogue as the project continues to progress.

Connecting to the Grid

As the renewable energy sector continues to evolve, so too do the processes that underpin successful grid connections. At YZ, we continually review and analyse network requirements to ensure our clients benefit from clear, structured advice, starting from the earliest stages of project development.

Our experience reinforces a simple lesson: understanding the connection pathway early helps streamline decision-making, reduce project risk and support more efficient project delivery.
